Five things to be happy about {five things friday: link-up #20}

Rain on rain on rain, plump pumpkins, long overdue visits with best friends and exploring just a handful of the many hidden wonders of our beautiful city… this was another perfect week with so many things to be happy about!

Here are this week’s five things at random from Barbara Ann Kipfer’s book, 14,000 Things to be Happy About, plus a five-photo-roundup of things that made me smile this week. Read on for the link-up rules and info.

Five things to be happy about:

• Japanese lanterns strung between trees, gently lighting the lawn
• lamb’s wool and angora
• pastel colors
• chubby cows eating contentedly on the grass
