Five things to be happy about {five things friday link-up #12}

Last weekend, the Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild held its very first Modern Quilt Showcase where I was lucky enough to have two of my quilts on display! Sooo, in honor of a most magical and amazing show – and to continue the celebration – I’m doing things a little bit differently this week and making my five smiles photo-roundup all about the quilt show!

Here are this week’s five things at random from Barbara Ann Kipfer’s book, 14,000 Things to be Happy About, plus a five-photo-roundup of things that made me smile this week. Read on for the link-up rules and info.

• rare-book rooms in great libraries
• carrying cups of coffee out to the porch to enjoy the morning sunshine
