Five things to be happy about {five things friday link-up #5}

New Summer pool memberships, black light bowling, chilly beach days, nature walks and one reeeeeally good thrifting trip… whew! Trying to do all the things and having a whole lotta fun in the process! Happy Five Things Friday!

Here are this week’s five things at random from Barbara Ann Kipfer’s book, 14,000 Things to be Happy About, plus a five-photo-roundup of things that made me smile this week. Read on for the link-up info.

Five things to be happy about:

  • a dragonfly wing in the sun reflecting the color of opals
  • inserting a card and removing it quickly
  • three-layer red velvet cake slathered with frosting
  • a roomful of books and a library ladder to reach the highest shelves
  • trying anything once

    1. I’ve never heard it called moonlight bowling. Love that! Growing up in Florida, we always called it cosmic bowling, but they call it black light bowling here. Who knew? I really liked the card one too. So relatable! Hopping to your blog now!
